The Best Chinese Restaurant of the Year Award – Readers Poll results
Grand Harbour, at the Viaduct, our pick in the Best Chinese restaurant category in our Restaurant of the Year Awards. Nothing has shifted us from our view since. There’s still something totally fantastic about Sunday yum cha here : great room, great service, impeccable food

The barbecue pork buns are light, sweet, heavenly. The deep fried prawn wontons make our tastebuds weep with joy. The shear volume of what we’ve ordered has me crying all the way to the cashier. But for such a rollercoaster of pleasure and pain, it’s a small price to pay. Recommended.

Best Chinese Restaurant Award
To create what is a sumptuous décor, compared to the average Chinese eatery, they have obviously used experience designers. But despite the style, it offers relatively cheap eating. There’s Yum Cha where they cruise the tables offering you around 70 choices of tasty Chinese dishes. Definitely one of the city’s best ethnic eateries.

A large, contemporary Hong Kong-style restaurant with a huge following in the Chinese community and by the others in the know. The yum cha lunch is excellent with heaps of variety, and there’s a wide-ranging menu for dinner. Be sure to book, especially on weekends when there’s always a queue.
